Sabrina's 3rd Birthday

Since we didn't have a real Birthday party for Sabrina on her actual birthday, we did another when Grandma and Papa were here. We went to chuck e cheese, which is the most exciting place when you're a kid. Then we came home and opened some presents. Sabrina got a box of Magnatiles just like her friend Everett has. She was so excited! She also got new rain boots with a matching umbrella, which she plays with inside the house just about everyday! She is growing up so fast. She loves to take care of Luci and boss her Sissy around. She loves to give hugs and kisses and gets herself out of trouble with her adorable looks!!

Check-ups

Luci got her 4 month check-up and Sabrina got her 3 year check-up. Luci did just fine. As for her sister, I can't say the same. She got the second half of her flu shot and was so upset she hit the needle right out of her arm leaving a huge scratch on her as well as the nurse. Also bending the needle in half. Luckily the nurse got it all in before this happened!

The New Room

When Grandma and Papa were here they helped us with the house. Papa painted the girls room green with pretty pink and yellow flowers. The girls love it! Sabrina loves going to bed now!

The Blessing

We blessed Luci on Sunday January 24, 2010. Yes this means she was 4 months old, but we wanted to have the Grandparents there, and the Grandparents we had. It was wonderful and with the blessing came a new middle name for Luci. No, Perry didn't surprise all of us with the new name. We chose to change Luci's middle name from Fleur to Fleurette after some technical difficulties with the first. So Luci's official name is Luci Fleurette Bowes and we love it. We forgot camera's on blessing day, so these photo's are as good as they get (from my dad's phone). By the time we got home Luci had already thrown up on her pretty dress that Mimi made for her, so you will just have to imagine how cute it was.

Another Story From a Crazy Girl

Situation: Sabrina was downstairs watching TV. She came upstairs to find Perry.

Sabrina starts yelling, "Dad? .....Dad? ....... (she doesn't hear anything) Uhhh! Oh gosh!"

Since Perry didn't answer, Sabrina went over to Luci and says, " Luci, have you seen my dad?.....Do you know where he is?..... Luci??.......Do you know where he is?"

That darn Luci never knows where dad is! What are we to do with her?

Infomercials

The other day Anabelle came up to me and said...

Anabelle: Mom, guess what? You know how sometimes you brush your teeth and the toothpaste gets all over, and the bathroom is a mess?

Me: Yeah

Anabelle: Well, it doesn't have to be like that anymore! You can get this great thing you stick on your wall that you just put your toothpaste right in it. Then you put your toothbrush under it and you get the perfect amount. No more mess mom!

Me: Huh, we'll have to think about maybe getting one of those.

She's pretty into infomercials lately. I think she could definitely be a salesperson for the toothpaste holder!

Sabrina's Funny Conversation

Situation: We were eating dinner and Sabrina didn't like what were having, so Perry made her stay on her chair until she ate her food. While she was sitting at the table by herself, not eating anything she said, "mom come here."

I went over and said "what?"

Sabrina: "mom this is dangerous."

me: (thinking what???)

Sabrina: "This is really dangerous!"

Me: "what's dangerous?"

Sabrina: "This food! It's so yucky, it's really yucky."
