I just got done purchasing our return tickets from Utah. Why might you ask, did I not purchase tickets to utah. Well we are going to be brave and drive there this summer. Me, Perry and the girls. You might be thinking that we are crazy. We are, but the gas and hotel stays will be free for us so it saves us a bundle. Now, I have never driven across the US before so I don't know what to expect. Maybe I won't have any hair left when we get there. We'll see. Also today I gave Anabelle a black eye.
We were playing a game of bouncing from couch to couch. I bounced her a little too hard and BOOM a black eye. I felt really bad, but she told me that it wasn't my fault and that she still loved me. So to make up for it we made cupcakes together. Not that it fixes anything but she felt all better when we did.

Being someone who has made the long driving trek to Utah twice, good luck. Start buying a lot of cheep movies to keep the little ones entertained.

I made that drive when I moved home from Virginia. It's brutal, but you can hack it. Even with a black eye Anabelle is still the cutest thing ever!
i'm glad to see you are back!!! i love your posts...they always make me smile! i totally wacked anabelle on saturday too, at the dog party...sorry!! i guess i just want to be like you! and i didn't even have any cool cupcakes or anything to make up for it!! you rock!
we are doing the cross-country trip too (and we even are doing the return trip). i actually like road trips. we should compare stopping places sometime.
not to make you feel bad, but i will admit that i noticed annabelle's eye on sunday. it's not that bad - that smile with the cupcakes certainly shows that all is well. i've done worst to my kids especially poor jake who seems to fling out his arms when i'm carrying him through a doorwary (happened this morning) or soemthing.
She still looks cute even with the black eye! You guys are brave to drive across the country. I will be anxious to here how that goes. We were never brave enough to try that.
